Mr.Girish Karnad passed away on June 10th. It was fascinating to know from fellow cartoonists that Girish Karnad was an portrait artist too.

Cartoon - Environment Day

Just felt that there is lot more to be done before we even celebrate a "Environment Day" just for the heck of it ! Isn't a good environment needed for a daily life ? Wish we celebrate it everyday and thank Mother Nature to have lived so long with our stupidity !

Known as Karnataka's "George Bernard Shaw" , he was well know Humorist and most of his novels were based on humour.

His real name is Rayasam Bheemasena Rao and was popularly know by his pen name ಬೀChi (BeeChi)

Digital Caricature - She is "No One" a.k.a Arya Stark

While there has been debate if GoT series 8 was good or bad among the fans - but nothing stops in majority (at least on my FB Timeline people voted for her as most liked character) saying they loved/liked the girl who became "No One" a.k.a Arya Stark.

Well all good things come to an end - so did the series Big Bang Theory. Would have loved to caricature every character of the series , which i plan to during this year. Started off with eccentric genius Dr Sheldon Copper !

Contesting in the FB caricature contest , this time it was the Surreal Artist and multi-talented Salvador Dali. I had to come up with a surreal caricature as a tribute to this man and hence this "Spidey-Dali"

Cartoon - No Me-h Me-h please

2019 elections in India has seen a huge spurt in parties throwing brick-brats against each other to sway voters to vote them. But it turned to all new level one person did a MEME about Chief Minister of West Bengal . The person was arrested - though the MEME had no disrespect to anyone.

The person arrested did get huge support from social media platform and eventually was released ONLY when Supreme Court of India had to intervene.

So, here is cartoon of course in funny angle.
 

Digital Caricature - Dr Satish Sringeri

So, Cartoonist's from Karnataka got together to create Caricature Spirit contest and the very first personality to caricature for the contest was Late Dr. Satish Sringeri. Dr Satish was Ayurveda practitioner and also eminent cartoonist among India. He is also elder brother to Cartoonist Raghupati Sringeri.





And while I did this caricature did capture the time lapse video as below.
