 So, apparently there was a everyday decision change from our Karnataka State Government whether OR should there be curfew on movement of people for the NEW YEAR EVE of 2021 due to Corona. It was quite funny that one day they announce curfew and next day to back - this went on for few days and this prompted me for this cartoon.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi of 2020 , there was a very sad and heart crunching incident happened last few week in Hathras (Uttar Pradesh) where a girl was brutally raped and murdered and to make even worse the UP Police hushed up the process of investigation went on to burn the body (cremation) with out even consent of the demised girl's parents. Put up this cartoon with quote of Gandhiji

Cartoon - Who is more dangerous ?

It was painful to see the headline of the news - let alone reading the whole details. You know there is sinking feeling inside you see when someone OR something which is close to you is hurt ? Every time i read the news I get that sinking feel. So, apparently an elephant wandered off the forest and came into a town seeking food and some person seems to have fed a pineapple laced with cracker - which injured the elephant fatally. The elephant hurt in mouth seems to have immersed into water to save itself from flies attacking the injury only to succumb to the injury and die later - whats more disheartening is the elephant was Pregnant 😞

Cartoon - Which queue you are ON ?

So with COVID - 19 situation and whole world went under lock down. On May 03rd the state of Karnataka in India decided to relax on liquor sales - this saw relaxation saw huge queues of people which extended to kms long. Funny thing was there was other section of people who went to just to click pics of the queue in front of Liquor store - so here is my funny take on that situation.

Cartoon - Price Hike !

Well in our state of Karnataka - India , the state government plans to increase rate of Milk, as they feel the milk farmers are been paid less. So, here is my funny take on the this increase in rate of Milk. By the way the pun is much better in my native language "Kannada" and hence the cartoon is in Kannada.

And here is the English translation

The husband has the quantity of milk cut down to Half liter to mitigate the rate hike. 

So the wife to husband : Is half liter "Hol" (Milk in Kannada) enough ? You don't seem cut down on full bottle of "Alco-Hol" what ever the rate is !  

Digital Caricature - Tribute to Cartoonist/Caricaturist Thomas Antony

On 12th of Jan renowned Indian Cartoonist/Caricaturist Mr.Thomas Antony departed due to cardiac arrest. Mr.Thomas Antony hailed from State of Kerala and awarded with World Press Cartoon 2018 for his caricature of Robert Mugabe.

There is commemoration service held on Jan 19th and hence tribute from cartoonist all over India is expected and here is my modest Tribute to the Cartoonist Mr. Thomas Antony - may his soul Rest In Peace.

I can't over the fact BIG FAN of him !!! defined character for many many fans and me being one among them watching his movies growing up.

Cartoon - Finally !

Nirbhaya case rocked capital Delhi and India about women safety in 2012 - it was brutal rape case where 6 people were convicted , while 1 was juvenile who was let after 3 year sentence and 1 among 6 died in prison while trail was ON.

So while rest of 4 were given Capital punishment - it was upheld and death warrant was issued to be carried out on 22nd JAN 2020 - 8 Years after the rape case was filed.

India was scheduled to play T20 format of Cricket against Sri Lanka (5th Jan 2020), but weather played spoil sport and it rained there by the play not happening due to wet outfield , while the ground staff tried best to get the ground ready infact using Hair Dyers and Iron boxes to dry certain we patch :)
